Dawnwalker Guide
The Blood of Dawnwalker Editions and Bonuses
Standard, Day One, Eclipse and Collector's — same base game, different shelves. This page compares exactly what's inside each edition, what the preorder armor actually unlocks, and which gaps the official materials still leave open.
01
Edition comparison
Side-by-side contents table per the Bandai Namco 2026-08-18 Edition Guide. Note that the preorder armor appears on every edition's row — that is the eligibility column, not a guarantee it's stacked with everything else you buy.

Eligibility for the preorder armor applies to every edition shown. The mark above is "eligible preorder · early unlock" rather than "included with every purchase", because the official guide explicitly says preorder is what unlocks it on day one — buying a copy in the days after launch doesn't change what you get.
02
Collector's Edition
Everything in one box. The Collector's Edition is the only tier that bundles the Eclipse digital extras on top of the physical shelf pieces, and it's produced in a limited run.
What's in the box
Per the Edition Guide, the Collector's Edition contains:
- PureArts® Coen figurine — 23 cm, depicting Coen as human by day and vampire by night, in a collector box.
- Physical World Compendium — 60-page hardcover of concept art, sketches and illustrations.
- Steelbook® — premium metal case featuring a full-colour illustration of Brencis's court.
- World Map — 33 × 40 cm textured print of Vale Sangora, illustrated in the style of 14th-century illuminations.
- Eclipse Edition digital upgrade — Digital World Compendium, Digital Comic Book and Digital Soundtrack.
Platform availability
PC: official text does not say whether the box contains a disc or a download code. Confirm with the retailer listing before checkout.
PS5: the same media-format ambiguity applies — the official text does not name a region-specific format. The PS5 storefront is the source of truth for your region.
Pricing and regional stock are not published in the official materials reviewed here. "While stocks last" is the official wording — once the limited run sells through, restocks are not guaranteed.
03
Day One Edition and Steelbook
The Day One Edition is the physical first print of the game. It adds two pieces of shelf hardware on top of the Standard Edition — the Steelbook® and a printed World Map.
Physical first print
The Day One Edition is the launch-day physical edition. Official text describes it as the same price as the Standard Edition while stocks last, and it's sold only as a physical SKU.
Steelbook®
The Steelbook® is a premium metal case. The Steelbook metal case and the printed World Map of Vale Sangora are bundled together in the Day One Edition — they aren't sold separately.
World Map
The Day One map matches the one in the Collector's Edition thematically, but the official product copy describes a printed World Map without specifying the same 33 × 40 cm dimensions as the Collector's print. Treat the dimensions as a Collector's-only detail unless your retailer listing states otherwise.
Format and platform coverage
The Day One Edition ships as a physical release. The Collector's Edition shares the Steelbook and World Map components, but the official text doesn't promise every SKU includes the game on a disc — region-specific format varies, and your local storefront listing is the source of truth.
04
Eclipse Edition
Digital extras, no shelf pieces. The Eclipse Edition is the route for players who care about the lore pack, the prequel comic and the soundtrack but don't want physical goods.
Three digital extras
The Eclipse Edition adds three bundled downloads on top of the base game. None of them change how the game plays — they extend the world's lore rather than the systems.
- Digital World Compendium — art and history of Vale Sangora.
- Digital Comic Book — a prequel to the main campaign.
- Digital Soundtrack — the game's score.
Buying Eclipse as an upgrade
If you start with Standard or Day One, you can add the Eclipse digital content later as a separate upgrade pack. The official text confirms the upgrade is sold separately — it isn't gated behind buying Eclipse up front.
How the digital extras are delivered
The official guide describes the digital compendium, comic and soundtrack as digital extras — but it does not publish distribution files, file sizes or a redemption flow. You will see exactly what is included in your store library on launch day.
05
Sangoran Wayfarer's Armor Set
The preorder bonus is a single armor set, and it's the only confirmed preorder pack attached to every edition. Eligibility rules, what the set looks like, and how it relates to the in-game version are all spelled out below.
Who gets it
Eligible preorders across all four editions unlock the Sangoran Wayfarer's Armor Set on launch day. The exact storefront mechanism (automatic entitlement, code entry, save unlock) isn't published in the official materials we reviewed; check the store page you bought from.
What the armor is
The armor set equips Coen with the gear of the Sangoran Wayfarer, marked with the emblem of a nameless smith who travelled the continent in search of inspiration. The official copy describes the set as an in-game armor set, not cosmetics only — its stats aren't published, but the imagery is.
It is the same set you can earn in-game
The Edition Guide is explicit: "every player can also obtain this item later in-game". Preordering grants the set on day one; non-preorder players acquire it through regular gameplay later. This is why it's labeled as an early unlock, not an exclusive.
Until the store page or a follow-up post details the exact claim flow (code, login bonus, automatic entitlement), there is no redemption walkthrough to follow. No specific NPC, location or code currently unlocks the set.

Choose by included content
Four editions, one decision: what kind of extras do you actually want? The cards below match intent to the simplest edition that delivers it — no value ranking, no best-deal calculation.
Just want to play the game
Buy the Standard Edition. The base game and the preorder armor are the only confirmed inclusions, and either digital or physical Standard covers both.
Recommended edition: Standard
Want the lore extras without shelf pieces
The Eclipse digital extras (compendium, comic, soundtrack) come bundled with the Eclipse Edition, or as a separate upgrade bought on top of Standard or Day One later.
Recommended edition: Eclipse, or Standard + Eclipse upgrade
Want a Steelbook and the World Map
The Day One Edition ships the Steelbook® and the printed World Map with the base game. The Day One price is the same as Standard while supplies last, so this is the no-upgrade shelf option.
Recommended edition: Day One
Want everything in one box
The Collector’s Edition bundles the figurine, the hardcover compendium, the Steelbook, the World Map and the Eclipse digital extras in one limited-edition physical package.
Recommended edition: Collector’s
